Volunteer for Your Chapter!

Like all non-profit groups, SCV-CAMFT is always in need of volunteers. We need volunteers to survive and to thrive. If you are inspired to join our team of dedicated and giving volunteers, please read about the opportunities below.

Here is a list of some current needs. If you have a skill that you want to use to support our mission, please fill out the application and/or contact us - mail@scv-camft.org or 408-721-2010. Help Us Bring Great Programs to Our Members

Members can be involved in whatever capacity and time commitment that works for them. We seek members to develop ideas for virtual and in-person events, dynamic speakers and presentations, and social events for members. As we return to in-person events, we will need help with planning and help at the events. Please reach out at programs@scv-camft.org.

Board Members

Membership on the SCV-CAMFT board of directors provides an opportunity to shape our chapter while fostering deep community with your colleagues. The board of directors is a “governing” board, responsible for creating the vision, mission, values, and policies for the chapter and ensuring that the principles and finances are properly managed. Board members are expected to attend 11 monthly meetings, the annual membership meeting, two planning sessions, the annual CAMFT Chapter Leadership Conference and as many luncheons as your schedule permits throughout your term. We ask for a 2 year commitment. Send an email to Dominique Yarritu at president@scv-camft.org if you have questions about serving on the board. Board position descriptions
