Presentation Description

This presentation will integrate current research with practical tools to help clinicians recognize and respond to the emotional demands of their clients.  We will examine how compassion fatigue develops, how imposter-style self-doubt undermines professional identity, and how resilience can be strengthened through evidence-based strategies.

In addition to supporting clients themselves, the workshop also addresses how these concepts apply directly to clinicians.  We will explore how compassion fatigue manifests in caregiving families, how imposter-like thinking appears in adolescents and adults, and how resilience can be cultivated across diverse client populations.

Program Goals

Attendees will leave with practical interventions they can use both in their clinical work with clients as well as their own professional lives.
