Facilitators: Jia Rebecca Li and Jyoti Nadhani
This monthly support group is created to offer a warm, supportive and safe place for Asian Pacific Islander (API) therapists - including pre-licensed trainees, associate therapists and licensed therapists - to connect, support each other and explore shared interests. As a group we will collectively cultivate a sense of belonging, validate our challenges as well as resilience as healing professionals, celebrate and explore our cultures and intersectionality, and hold space for our voice, healing and vitality. Current meetings are online but we will explore the possibility of periodic in-person meetings later in the year.
This group is free of charge for SCV-CAMFT members, and open to non-members, who can attend 2 meetings before joining the chapter.
This group typically meets the 1st Friday of each month from 12pm - 1:30pm. For more information, contact Rebecca at counselingca1@gmail.com.
