Personal Statement
In office and Telehealth therapy offered I am a sliding scale cognitive behavioral therapist who is very open to providing eclectic work and including individual spirituality if clients choose. Since 1983 I have worked in hospitals on locked psychiatric units and chemical dependency programs. Since 2002 have worked in the private sector. I enjoy seeing individuals in transition, and dealing with chemical dependency or depression. I also seem to have a knack for helping couples. On occasion I provide chid counseling which I love,but since I have two children at home I limit how many children I see in the week. I believe in the match between the client and therapist do provide a 30 minute free question answer session. I also work part time with Foothill College out of the disabled student service program. In my free time I like to hike and taking yoga class.
