The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) is a group of 725 licensed and prelicensed members who provide counseling for individuals, couples, families or groups with relationship problems. Each member has, or is in the process of pursuing, a masters degree in Counseling.
Serving Greater Silicon Valley
Our geographic area covers all of Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, some parts of Santa Cruz County and southern portions of Alameda County.
Marriage, Family and Child Counselors (MFTs) are licensed by the State Board of Behavioral Sciences and are required to pass rigorous written and oral examinations before licensure. MFTs receive intensive training on families and are uniquely qualified to speak on families and relationship issues. The services of MFTs are helpful in a wide range of contexts, such as schools, corporations, and hospitals.
