Judy McFarland
Prelicensed & Newly Licensed

Judith McFarland received her degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 1995. Her training included on-site school based counseling with Adolescent Counseling Services, Catholic Charities and The Center For Human Development, working with children, teens and their families, adolescent groups, as well as working with individual adults and couples at various agency clinics. In 2000, she began teaching and presenting bullying prevention programs for the Diocese of San Jose and at various public schools, and in 2003 she became an instructor and group facilitator for GoodParents, Inc, an organization dedicated to providing training and support for parents of teens. Today she maintains a private practice in Campbell, where her focus is on working with couples and individual adults.

Prior to her career change, Judith worked in a variety of positions in the insurance industry. She trained and managed personnel and was a litigation specialist handling psychiatric workers compensation claims.

Judith has always enjoyed teaching and mentoring, and is looking forward to helping newly licensed MFT’s develop their practices as they face the challenges of our profession.
